Let us not love with words alone
Let us love also with actions and truth
God’s love isn’t passive. It’s a love that chases us down and doesn’t let us out of His sight. It’s a love that comforts in the darkest moments and still showers down in the mountain top. It’s a love that knows right from wrong, that convicts without condemning and guides without forcing.
We can’t say we know God unless we know His love.
And we can’t live out His command unless we receive His love. For if we do not love ourselves with the tender care He has for us, we will never fully understand what is means to love one another.
His love is active, it’s fully embedded in truth and it’s never absent.
Let grab onto His love so that we can love others according to His Word.
